Virtual Training

Training wherever you are

We understand the challenges of today and know the need for training, whether ongoing or for the first time, is still essential for people who are blind or visually impaired. That is why we have developed several virtual training options.

Tech Tuesdays

Every Tuesday, from 2:15 - 3:45 p.m. EST over Zoom, anyone from the community can join for tech advice, on-screen readers, magnification and technology training. 

Telephone Emotional Support

Every Tuesday, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. EST, our licensed clinical social worker takes calls to offer counseling and other mental health support.

Employment Training

Bosma’s Employment Services Team conducts virtual employment training to anyone living with blindness or low vision and seeking training for employment skills. This series is hosted bi-weekly on Friday’s, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EST, via Zoom.
